Terms of Service

These terms describe the use of Bag Lite and its project website, provided by TechWebster. Bag Lite is an Android packing checklist currently in development.

Using Bag Lite

Bag Lite helps you create and reuse packing checklists. You decide what to add, what to pack, and when to reset or delete a list. Use the app and website lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with their operation or misuse them.

The current app has no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, or cloud sync. It has not yet been published on Google Play. Availability, supported devices, and release details may change as development continues.

Your lists and responsibilities

Your list contents remain yours. Bag Lite stores them locally on your device. You are responsible for the contents you enter and for checking that you have packed everything needed for your trip. A checklist is a planning aid, not a guarantee that an item is packed or that travel, health, safety, or entry requirements are met.

Deleting lists or items, clearing app storage, or uninstalling can remove your data. Resetting clears checkmarks and retains the list’s items. The app has no export or in-app backup service. Keep any essential information separately.

Development status and availability

Bag Lite is a learning project. Features may change, and bugs or interruptions may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or recovery of deleted data. Test the app for your needs before relying on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Source code and branding

The project source is publicly available on GitHub and is intended for open-source distribution. A source-code license has not yet been selected. Public availability alone does not grant a particular open-source license. Refer to the repository for current license terms before copying, modifying, or distributing code. Third-party dependencies are subject to their respective licenses.

These terms do not grant permission to use TechWebster or Bag Lite branding to imply endorsement or an official relationship.
